This year we will be using many different technology tools. Below is a list of sites that students will need to access regulary.

Office 365 for Students

Within the classroom and at home students will be using Office 365. As a Cobb County student, your child has access to all Microsoft products available through the district's Microsoft subscription. 

Your child as a ClassNotebook within Office 365. This notebook acts  just as a physical binder. It has tabs for each subject. I put content within all students ClassNotebook which they can see and copy. Your child can also complete assignments and access content through the ClassNotebook. 

MobyMax

Moby Max is a K-8 learning platform for math, literacy, science, and social studies equipped with adaptive tests, test-prep lessons, and motivational tools such as games and badges. The app claims that all sections (from Fact Fluency to Informational Reading Skills) are explicitly aligned with Common Core State Standards and Next Generation Science Standards. MobyMax also features specific state test-prep activities. 

Your child is expected to complete at least 10 minutes a day within the Fact Fluency section. Others subject areas will be assigned from time to time, but your child can work on anything available to them through the site at any time.

Read Works

Students are required to complete the appropriate reading assignments by their due date. They can be completed at home or school, but parents should NOT help their child in any way.  

Enter class code: 5BNGKG 

Default password is 1234 but you will be asked to change it. Change the password to your lunch number. 

If you cannot remember your password you will need to ask me to reset it. 

 
 

Georgia Social Studies Weekly
